Lead Time:
we have in stock all the products in our gamma in quantities normally widely sufficient to satisfy regular projects.
When possible, we keep full pallets of silver 3mm in stock ready-for-shipment. All the other products are in stock ready-for-production, based on orders.
This strategy allows us to be extremely flexible on your required quantities and mixed pallets, always without any human handling. Additionally, it guarantees you to receive always new mirrors, in the best state and workability possible.
Considering the full software integrations and the huge 24-hours production capacity, we are able to provide pallets, in case of urgency, with next-day shipment lead time. In many cases, we can provide same-week or next-week shipment lead time.
In case the standard lead time written in the offer does not match your customer's needs, please inform us and we will probably we will be able to solve the problem for you by adapting our planning.

Minimum Order:
We sell only to distributors, so the standard minimum order is multiples of 1 ton, but the coloured mirrors require much more flexibility to be sellable and usable for projects. For this reason, we offer only 3 sheets as a minimum order for each product you are interested in.
Be aware that a pallet with less than 20mm of mirrors on it is at high risk of damage during transport. To allow the best optimization of the pallets for packaging and transport costs, we offer the mixed pallet solution.
Top Menu
Mixed Pallet:
To allow you to optimize packaging and transport costs and still have full flexibility to serve the needs of your customer' projects, you can order mixed pallets. Mixed pallets can be prepared with mirrors of different colours and thicknesses (of the same dimension). The sorting of the products on the pallet can be defined by you, following your needs for the next handlings at your warehouse. Mixed pallets. the maximum quantity of mirrors on a pallet 3050x2050mm is equal to 150mm.

Cut-to-Size:
In rare cases, for large volumes and when the scrap is more than 30%, we can offer cut-to-size solutions. In these cases, we will try our best to optimise the scrap and not apply to the customer (or apply only partially) its cost. This is done to help Customers to use mirrors on projects that otherwise would be not possible.
Top Menu
Special Thicknesses:
are possible with minimum orders of 3 tons and minimum lead time of more than 40 days.
Top Menu
Special Sizes:
To avoid costs for scraps on big projects, we can extrude and process sheets in dimensions smaller than the standard. The minimum order is 3 tons and the lead time is normally between 3 to 8 weeks.
The advantage is a cost per square meter very similar to the products in standard size.

Special colours
It is possible to obtain mirrors based on a specific colour, created from a customer's sample (of any kind-material) or on a RAL, Pantone standard.
If the colour is similar to an available pigment, then a mirror sample will be provided in 1-2 weeks. In this case, a lead time of about 4-8 weeks will be required for the production with a minimum order of 3 tons.
Otherwise, if the colour is NOT similar to an available pigment, then a mirror sample will be provided in 3-5 weeks. In this case, a lead time of about 6-10 weeks will be required for the production with a minimum order of 5 tons.
Special colours can be extruded into special dimensions too.

Transport cost:
We offer transport for free when the cost is up to 200 euros per ton. If it is higher, the excess is charged in the invoice. If the cost is lower
(for example for huge volumes), we offer a discount
in the invoice.
Be aware that in 2022, the transport costs are increased a lot, for this reason, charges are now very common.
In the same time period, the quality of transport has decreased dramatically. Please, inform your warehouse referents to
check very well the pallets for damages or water exposition before signing the transport documents.
If the transport documents are signed without notes about the damages, all the damages
will be not recognised by the transport insurance and will be on the Customer.

Packaging costs:
Truck transports: the packaging cost is for
free for full pallets (1ton).
For pallets loaded with less than 1 ton,
a packaging charge is applied. The charge
will be calculated proportionally to the
unused capacity of the pallet and based on a
total cost of packaging of 60 euros.
See
our packaging sheet for truck transports...
Ship transports: the packaging cost
includes a special sealed envelope with
silica gel and is offered at 120 euros
per pallet. This cost includes the 4
ways fumigated pallet and do not include any
wooden box or wooden cover. OSB covers
can be offered at extra cost on request.

Shelf Life:
acrylic is hygroscopic and humidity absorbed in the PMMA creates 2 degenerations in the mirrors.
One is the degeneration of the connection between PMMA and Aluminium, reducing its adhesion of the mirror layer with the PMMA.
The other one is more impacting on mirrors piled on pallets. Being only the sides of the mirrors exposed to air, only the sides will absorb humidity. That humidity will create waves and distortions. For this reason, we strongly
suggest keeping mirrors in a dry and clean
place with fewer temperature changes possible
and to buy mirrors in a quantity
ideally sellable in 2-3 months.
By the way: if the mirrors are waved, cut
the 2 centimetres of the sides: the edge
will be even more waved and the full sheet
will be perfectly flat. This is also why we suggest always cutting your design centred on the mirrors, never starting from the sides.

Samples:
We are pleased to offer samples that support the commercial activities of our distributors. We provide color chains featuring either the
full spectrum of available colors or a
selection tailored to the distributor’s preferences.
Our samples are typically pre-engraved with the distributor’s logo, ensuring long-term value and brand visibility. Additionally, we offer
desk stands that present the full color chain in a more engaging manner (refer to the accompanying photo for details).
Please contact us via email to specify
quantities, preferences, and the
delivery address for the samples.

1 TESTS:
Please, suggest to your Customers to do tests on
expendable parts before starting the series production.
1.1 GLUES, ADHESIVES AND PROCESSING: for each product (glues, adhesives, paints, etc) and for each process, it is advised to try the product/process on an expandable part before starting the series production. The confirmation of suitability of the tested product/process must be given after the chemical/physical reaction being fully completed. For further information, contact EUMirror customer support or check the technical datasheets or instructions of the products/machineries to be used. |
1.2 OUTDOOR USES: As per standard in this industry, there is no warranty for outdoor uses. EUMirror standard products are regularly used outdoor without problems, but with some precautions: a) the back and sides must be protected from the direct and continuous contact with water b) in places with high humidity, after the cut, protect the cut sides from humidity c) it must not be hung with glues or bi-side adhesives applied directly to the back coating. You can receive more information on outdoor uses from our EUMirror Customer Service. |
1.3 RESPONSIBILITY: all the responsibilities for the not executed tests (or not properly executed tests) or for outdoor applications are at the Customer’s charge.

2 WARRANTIES:
although we are always trying to solve any possible problem of the Customer, some limitations to the warranty are defined to protect the residual value of the product and protect from warranty abuse.
2.1 COVERAGE: Unless explicitly agreed otherwise, the warranty covers visible manufacturing defects on the reflection side greater than 2x2mm. The film of our product is transparent, and this allows to see relevant aesthetic defects before cutting or removing the film. |
2.2 NONCOVERAGE: Unless explicitly agreed otherwise, the warranty DOES NOT cover: scratches and/or other handling damages, uneven transparency in case of backlighting, defects in the external 2.5cm on each side, transport damages not contested to the carrier at the time of delivery, and similar. |
2.3 DURATION: The warranty is valid until the first event between: a) one year from the sale, b) first processing (cut, thermoforming, etc), c) film removal. |
2.4 NOTIFICATION: each notification of anomaly must be supported by photo of the defect and photo of the label present on each sheet with defect. The identifying label of the sheet is present on the protective film of all our sheets. It is possible that, in some cases, to start the practice will be required to send a sample of the defect. |
2.5 RESIDUAL VALUE: to exercise the rights of the guarantee, the product must be made available to be recollected in the conditions that preserve its residual value. Between the conditions We mention: a) Film: the contested product must still have its protective film positioned sufficiently to preserve the product, b) Care: the product must have been protected from dirt and moisture and handled avoiding any damage, c) Packaging: the product must have been packaged in a suitable way so that it can be transported safely, d) Integrity: the product must be contested in full sheets. Cut sheets are not accepted (except the first one) or are valued at a lower value. |
2.6 MAXIMUM REFUND: the maximum amount of the reimbursement can’t be greater than the value of the defected products and the proportional transport cost managed by EUMirror for the delivery to the Customer. The refund % will be calculated dependently on: a) the kind of defect, b) the dimension of the defect(s), c) the “Residual Value” of the products, d) the kind of application (need) of the Customer. |
2.7 RECOLLECTION: depending on: a) value of the contested product, b) residual value, c) transport costs, d) Customer needs, EUMirror will schedule a recollection or give a waste disposal authorization for the defected products. |

Technical Information Outdoors uses:
In general terms, acrylic mirrors are suitable for outdoor use, provided that:
- the back and sides are protected from direct and continuous contact with water/moisture.
Because: with prolonged contact, the paint can be temporarily damaged. (Temporarily because the coating will return to the original condition after drying)
- In places with high humidity, after the cut:
protect the cut sides from humidity. It is enough to use
a gasket a water-based paint marker (for example “UNI Posca” markers). The marker must be used along all the edges of the painted side so that the exposed aluminium from the cut is covered by paint and does not remain exposed to air. It is also
strongly suggested to use laser cutting
for outdoor applications.
Because: aluminium with title 99,99% (sublimated for the creation of mirrors) is vulnerable to basic aggressions and humidity. The lack of protection may lead to the possible aluminium darkening on the mirror perimeters (by the passing of the years).
- Must not be hung with glues or bi-side adhesives attached to the back coating.
Because: in case of constant water/moisture exposition, the coating could reduce its hardness and so its adhesion to the glue/mirror.
- in the long term a non-perfect reflection must be acceptable.
Because: the PMMA is a hygroscopic material and the humidity that will enter between the PMMA structures
will modify the planarity of the surfaces. This alteration will create a light "orange-skin" effect
to the reflection. This effect is not perceivable from an average distance when used for street mirrors, security mirrors, signs, etc, but can be visible when the mirror is used for close
and precise reflections.
If what is written can leave any doubts or if you want a further in-depth analysis: you can give us indications of the conditions of use that you expect and we will give you more details on the appropriate precautions.

Gluing and Adhesives:
For Glues and Adhesive Tapes in particular,
we strongly suggest reading the "Tests"
section on this page before starting any
production. In the case of outdoor use of
the mirrors, we suggest reading the specific
section "Outdoor Uses" to validate the
details of the project before starting the
production.
About
Glues: for general application, we suggest
the use of PU glues. There are plenty of
brands having these glues in their product
gamma and are normally cheap, widely
available and simple to use. There are
plenty of other glues compatible with our
water-based rear protection. Prefer the ones
solvent-free and please test your
preferred/available glues following the
suggested practices in the tests section.
It is also useful to remember that the
flatness/planarity of the surface on which the mirror
will be glued determines the level of
deformation of the mirror reflection. The
acrylic mirror is flexible and it will flex
around the irregularity of the surface and
of the glue deposition, creating distortions
in the reflection if not positioned in
perfect planary.
About Adhesive
Tapes: we recommend using
solvent-free
adhesive tapes, suitable for contact with
water-based paints. In case you use
calanders to place the adhesive film, it is
also important to keep the pressure of the
calendars as low as possible because it can
stress and reduce permanently the adhesion
between Aluminium and PMMA. Please be
aware that some bi-adhesive tapes are
suitable for normal use, but create
particular residuals/fumes when cut by
laser. Those residuals/fumes, if not
immediately removed, can create corrosion of
the Aluminium from the edge of the cut. In
particular, this can happen when the
aluminium layer is in the middle of a
thicker structure and in particular when the
power of the laser compared to the final
thickness of the product requires a slow or
multiple laser cut. An example is a 6mm
bi-side mirror made with 2 mirrors 3mm
attached rear-to-rear. To avoid similar
problems, consider cutting the mirrors
before attaching them together, having the
bi-adhesive tape attached only to one of the
2 mirrors.
If what is written can
leave any doubts or if you want a further
in-depth analysis: you can give us
indications of the conditions of use that
you expect and we will give you more details
on the appropriate precautions.

Technical Information
Protective film:
The PMMA mirrors are protected by a PE film, 55 microns, laserable and thermoformable, with NO-glue, attached only for
electrostatic adhesion. This quality is important in particular for thermoforming, to avoid glue of the film to leave residuals/stains on the PMMA surface.
Being only electrostatic adhesion, there are a few recommendations to avoid having the film fall out after a few days/weeks/months of wrong storage. The main ones are:
1) store the mirrors in a horizontal position. It is better to avoid vertical storage and in particular, having the film exposed to airflow. The airflow will gradually remove the electrostatic charge of the film to the PMMA and gravity will help the film to fall down.
2) store the mirrors face down. Face down on the pile of mirrors (or another surface) will prevent the film from releasing its charge into the air.
3) avoid using ionized air blowers/guns on the mirrors with protective film. The first goal of those ionized tools is the static charge decay, which will lead to the film detachment.
4)- be aware that aged mirrors, also properly stored, will have a
decreased adhesion of the film with the PMMA
on the edges of the sheets due to the inclusion of humidity in these areas of the PMMA sheet (PMMA is hygroscopic) collected from the sides of the sheets when they are on the pile. The extension of the area impacted by the reduced adhesion is normally between a few mm
to a maximum of 20-25mm, in particular on the short sides of the mirrors. This is one of the reasons why:
4.1) we strongly suggest setting your designs to be cut centring them in a usable area of 2000x3000mm, cutting as scrap on each side 25mm,
4.2 the 25mm on the edges are not included in the Warranty Agreement (See point 2.2),
4.3 of the possible paint stains explained in the Technical Information: "Paint drops on the short sides".
Related note: shelf-life
length of the finished products.
It is also useful to know that, with improper storage, this film removal risk is
higher when the mirror edges are cut mechanically (disk saw, CNC router, etc) and a lot
lower when the edges are cut with thermal processes (laser). This is because the laser cut melts the edges of the PE film and the PMMA, making an
additional not-electrostatic peripherical connection. This quality of the thermal cuts is important to properly engineer the processes in order to
reach the proper shelf-life
length for the finished products.

Technical Information Paint
drops on the short sides: The
presence of drops on the short edges of the
mirrors is a standard occurrence of the
technology we use for the protection of the
rear side of the mirrors. These drops can
appear on both short sides of the mirrors,
especially on the side where the labels are
located.
To compensate for possible
stains below the film our sheets are
actually a few millimetres longer then the
declared dimensions (4-6mm depending on the
batches).
There are alternative
technologies able to avoid those paint drops
on the short sides, but they have important
functional side effects that you don't want
in your mirrors. For example, the
thickness of the protective layer they
create is less than a half of our layer. The
thicker the protective layer is, the higher
is the mechanical protection it provides to
the reflective layer, from scratches and
dumps during handling, machining and use of
the mirrors. On top of that, some of the
alternative technologies, will also give you
an undesiderable raw vibrated finish,
instead of our aesthetically beautiful
smooth finish.
Coherently with the
warranty agreement, please note that we
cannot guarantee perfection for the 2cm on
the edges of the mirrors. This is due to
a) the multi-step processing after
extrusion, b) the thermoformble film,
that relies on electrostatic adhesion only,
that cannot guarantee perfect adhesion on
the last couple of centimetres on the edges,
c) the PMMA that is hygroscopic, and the
edges, in particular, absorb more humidity
(because cut by saw during extrusion and
because exposed also when piled on the
pallets). The humidity absorbed by the PMMA
creates waves on the edges of the sheets
(distortions in the reflections) and reduces
the adhesion of Aluminium to PMMA in these
areas.
Those are some of the
reasons why, undependently on the paint
drops, it is smart avoiding always the
extreme edges of the acrylic mirrors in your
cuts, but centring the cuts and leaving
those edges in the natural scrap of your
design. Top Menu
Thank you for your
